Product Information
All items are handmade from start to finish. Pieces may have subtle variations in shape and finish, so no two pieces are identical; therefore, you are purchasing a unique piece. The prices of the pieces include IGV tax (18%), but not shipping costs. You can preview both amounts in your order details. Domestic shipping costs depend on the destination and the size of the piece. For international shipping, the amount will be arranged internally directly with the customer. At Polen Ceramic Studio, we understand the importance of accurately representing our products through images. However, please note that the photos on our website are for reference only. There may be minor differences between the actual product and the reference image, including, but not limited to, variations in color tone, texture, and ornamental details. Please note that Polen Ceramic Studio has a no-returns policy for this reason. Since our products may vary slightly from the reference images and are subject to the customer’s conditions of use and care, we cannot accept returns based solely on minor differences in visual representation.
For returns, the return shipping and handling costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the product is defective or was received incorrectly due to an error on our part.
All returned products will be inspected before any exchange or refund is processed. We reserve the right to reject exchanges or refunds if the product does not meet our return conditions.
We accept return requests within 24 hours of the date you receive the product. After this period, we will be unable to process returns. It is important that you notify us of your intention to return a product within this timeframe so that we can provide you with the appropriate instructions and ensure the return process goes smoothly.
If your return or refund is approved, we will issue a store credit for the same amount paid for the returned product. This store credit can be redeemed on future purchases on our website or at our physical store and will be valid for up to 1 calendar month from the date of issue.
If you would like to exchange a product for another of equal or greater value, please contact us within 03 days of receiving your order. We will get in touch to coordinate the exchange details, including the availability of the desired product. If the product you wish to exchange it for is more expensive, you will be responsible for paying the difference, shipping costs, and administrative fees.
If you have ever purchased an item at full price and it was damaged beyond repair due to an accidental incident or negligence, please feel free to contact us by email. Damages and Compensation

Polen Ceramic Studio will not be liable for any damage or loss resulting from improper use, abuse, unauthorized modification, or negligent handling of our products.
Once we receive your claim, we will conduct an appropriate assessment to determine liability and the most appropriate resolution. We strive to resolve claims fairly and efficiently.
If the item is damaged upon delivery, it will be assessed for replacement, provided the claim is submitted within 24 hours of delivery. Otherwise, the claim will not be processed.
Care and Use
Use our products only for their intended purposes and in accordance with their specifications. Do not use the products in situations that could put your well-being at risk, or modify them without authorization.
If a product is intended for contact with food, follow the provided guidelines to ensure safety and hygiene. Wash and keep products intended for use with food clean.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, you may safely assume that all parts are dishwasher- and microwave-safe. However, we recommend hand-washing.
Please note that any glass or ceramic part can break easily if exposed to thermal shock.

- Polen is a space free from all forms of discrimination. If any of the company’s values are violated, we reserve the right to ask you to leave.
- Bizcochito offers an experience that includes an introduction to ceramics, but not a guided class.
- Classes cannot be canceled or transferred, which means there will be no refund if you are unable to attend.
- Freezing is the option to freeze your spot (per person). You can reserve your spot for up to 15 business days after the originally scheduled date. You can use this option as follows.
> 3 days before the experience: 35 soles.
> 8 hours or less before the experience starts: 50 soles.
This is to cover the administrative and logistical costs involved in canceling and/or postponing a class.
- Spots are personal and non-transferable; if you do not attend, the amount paid will not be refunded or transferred to another person.
- The tools provided for the class are the property of the studio.
- Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in 5 weeks.
- Policy for Storing and Collecting Pieces
Pickup period: Students have a maximum of 14 calendar days to collect their pieces, starting from the day the pickup notification is sent.
What happens to unclaimed pieces: After the 14-day period, due to space and logistical constraints in the workshop, any pieces that have not been collected will be considered abandoned and donated to educational or social institutions or, alternatively, recycled. The workshop is not responsible for subsequent claims and is not required to store pieces beyond the specified period.
Student Responsibilities and Commitments
- The student must arrive on time for their session and finish within the allotted time, as there is no grace period in this short program.
- We understand that when first trying ceramics, mistakes or errors may happen, and that they are valid and part of the process.
- The student must sign their pieces with their name and take photos of them for their records.
- The student is responsible for collecting their finished pieces within 30 business days of being notified that they are ready for pickup. After this period, the studio is not responsible for the pieces.
- The student may arrange for a courier to pick up their pieces, provided they give advance notice and the pieces have been properly recorded and signed.
- The student is responsible for all their belongings. The studio is not responsible for any loss.
Workshop Express
Terms and Conditions
- Polen is a space free from all forms of discrimination. If any of the company’s values are violated, we reserve the right to refuse service.
- Classes cannot be canceled or transferred, which means there will be no refund if you are unable to attend.
- Freezing is the option to freeze your spot (per person). You can reserve your spot for up to 15 business days after the originally scheduled date. You can use this option as follows.
> 3 days before the experience: 85 soles.
> 8 hours or less before the experience starts: 100 soles.
This fee is intended to cover the administrative and logistical costs associated with canceling and/or rescheduling a class.
- Spots are personal and non-transferable; if you do not attend, the amount paid will not be refunded or transferred to another person.
- The tools provided for the class are the property of the studio.
- Pieces will be ready for pickup in 5 weeks.
- Piece Storage and Pickup Policy

- After the 20-minute grace period, unfortunately you will not be able to join the class, as it follows a program divided into sections, and each section has a set amount of time to complete the final objective.
- When first working with ceramics, mistakes are valid and part of the process.
- Students must sign their pieces with their name and photograph them.
- Students are responsible for collecting their finished pieces within 30 business days of being notified that they are ready for pickup. After this period, the studio is not responsible for the pieces.
- Students may arrange for a courier to pick up their pieces, with advance notice, as long as the pieces have been properly registered and signed.
- Students are responsible for all their belongings. The studio is not responsible for any loss.
Regular Classes

Polen is a space free from all forms of discrimination. If any of our values are compromised, we reserve the right to refuse continued participation in the studio.
Hand Building
-With this option, we offer a flexible schedule, but it is essential that you reschedule your class in advance.
Make-up options:
- Free rescheduling: You can reschedule one (1) free session within the available spots for your plan.
- Make-up session fee: If the available spots do not fit your schedule or there are no spots left, you must pay S/100 per session to book another date.
Important:
- You have only one free rescheduling opportunity for each paid plan.
- If you do not take advantage of the available make-up options, the session will be forfeited without the right to a refund or compensation.
- Pieces will be ready for collection in 5 weeks.
- For pre-registration, 50% of the fee is required in advance to reserve your spot, and the balance is due at the start of the workshop.
- Piece Storage and Collection Policy
Collection period: Students have a maximum of 14 calendar days to collect their pieces, starting from the day the collection notification is sent.

- For pre-registration, 50% of the fee is required in advance to reserve your spot, and the balance is due at the start of the workshop.
Additional information:
- The studio is only responsible for firing pieces made during the sessions.
- If you withdraw from the course, whether before or after it begins, no refunds will be issued. You can ask about the Freezing option to keep your spot.

Trial Sessions
Terms and Conditions
Polen is a space free from all forms of discrimination. If any of the company’s values are violated, we reserve the right to remove anyone from the premises.
- If you decide to continue with the full workshop after the trial sessions, you must pay the remaining balance.
- The tools provided for the class are the studio’s property.
Handbuilding
- In the trial session, you’ll learn a handbuilding technique in a 2-hour class. This session will focus exclusively on making the piece.
- The piece will not be painted or glazed during the trial session. The purpose of this session is solely to make the piece.
- If you’d like to glaze or paint your piece, you can book an additional session to do so yourself (2-session package).
- The 1-session trial package includes glazing by us. In this case, the piece will be glazed in a single solid color.
Wheel Throwing
- The piece will not be glazed or painted during the trial sessions. These sessions focus exclusively on making and trimming the piece.
- If you’d like to glaze or paint your piece, you can book an additional session to do so yourself (3-session package).
- The 2-session package includes glazing by us. In this case, the piece will be glazed in a single solid color.
- Pieces will be ready for pickup in 5 weeks.
- Piece Storage and Pickup Policy
Pickup period: Students have a maximum of 14 calendar days to pick up their pieces, starting from the date the pickup notification is sent.
Fate of unclaimed pieces: After the 14-day period, due to space and logistical constraints at the studio, pieces that have not been picked up will be considered abandoned and donated to educational or social institutions or, if necessary, recycled. Polen is a space free from all forms of discrimination. If any of our values are compromised, we reserve the right to require you to leave the studio.
Premium Plan - Handbuilding
- The plan includes 5 sessions per month (15 sessions in total), combining 3 handbuilding classes and 2 glazing classes, using 4.5 kg of clay to create your pieces.
-The studio has a fixed schedule due to the limited availability of only 3 spots per time slot .
-The content is based on monthly technical modules, but progress depends on each student’s pace and commitment .
Make-up Options:
-Free rescheduling: You can reschedule one (1) session free of charge, subject to the available spots in your plan.
-If you do not take advantage of the available make-up options, the session will be forfeited without the right to a refund or compensation .
Payment and Billing:
-The Premium Plan is paid in a single installment of S/1260 at the start of each quarter. You can also choose to pay in 3 interest-free monthly installments of S/420 through Mercado Pago.
Additional information:
-The course includes bisque and glaze firings.
-The studio takes one week for bisque firing, and finished pieces will be ready within 15 to 20 days .
-Each student must bring their own apron.
-If you drop the course, whether before or after it starts, no refunds will be issued .
